The estimation approach presented in this talk was developed at Sandia National Laboratories for application to a Cooperative Research and Development Agreement between Sandia and Citibank. Sandia is a contractor for the Department of Energy (DOE). DOE is interested in developing test protocols, evaluation methodologies, and a user database to permit legitimate comparisons between state-of-the-art voice verification devices. Sandia team members areJim Chapek, Program Manager,
Tim Buckle, Project Leader,
Frank Bouchier, Project Engineer,
Kathleen Diegert, Statistical Analyst,
Louise Weston, Human Factors Analyst, and
Brian Rutherford, Statistical Analyst.
Citibank team members are Mike Clumpp
and Phil Shinn.
The work presented in this talk is the
joint effort of the project team. The goal of the collaboration
is to evaluate the performance of several voice verification devices
for a particular application over telephone connections. A database
of voice recordings of common utterances over telephone lines
is being created for the evaluation of future devices. These
data are considered to be proprietary. The data presented in
this analysis are scaled.
