Biometric Consortium Bulletin Board (BCBB)

The Biometric Consortium is pleased to announce our new web-based interactive Biometric Consortium Bulletin Board (BCBB).  You may join the BCBB at http://www.biometrics.org/forums/.

The BCBB replaced the Biometric Consortium Electronic Discussion Group (LISTSERV) on 15 October 2005.   BC LISTSERV archives will remain available to BCBB members.  With the new BCBB, you will go to the web site to see the new messages instead of receiving these through e-mail.  The new board includes an e-mail notification option that will notify you when postings occur in the forums you have selected.

Like the former system, messages will not be screened beforehand however, they will be periodically monitored to ensure that messages area being posted in the proper Forum.  Again, like the pervious system, all members will have the same privileges to send an receive messages plus, the bulletin board format offers a wide range of other features.

The National Biometric Security Project (NBSP) is managing and hosting the new bulletin board.  Should you experience any difficulty in the enrollment process or bulletin board utilization, please contact NBSP BCBB support at webmaster@biometrics.org.

We believe the features of the new web-based bulletin board will enhance the electronic discussions on biometrics.  We ask that if you have any questions or concerns, please try the Help menus and FAQ.  If you are still having problems, please contact BCBB support at webmaster@biometrics.org.

Also, there is a Suggestions forum on the new board to receive your suggestions and comments.
