Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following: perform biometric system development and device integration as the leader providing leadership and direction to junior level employees; formulate/define solution scope and objectives based on user needs; devise or modify programs to solve complex problems considering computer equipment capacity and limitations in order to achieve desired results; prepare detailed specifications from which programs will be written; analyze and revise existing system logic and documentation as necessary. Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, be customer oriented, pay attention to detail and possess good decision-making abilities. Detailed knowledge of biometrics and a wide variety of biometric devices is required. Knowledge of smart card technologies is desirable.

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, and 10+ years of working experience in information technology required. Applicants selected will be subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.
