Established by the
Deputy Secretary of Defense, the Department of Defense (DoD) Biometrics
Management Office (BMO) leads, consolidates, and coordinates the development,
adoption, and use of biometric technologies for DoD. The BMO also has
responsibility for testing and evaluating biometric technologies for DoD
applications. To execute this unique mission, the BMO operates the Biometrics
